Louisiana currently imposes a *criminal* fine on simple possession and possession of paraphernalia, which carries life-altering collateral consequence. Do you support changing the penalty from a criminal fine to a civil fine for possession of modest amounts of cannabis and cannabis paraphernalia? *

5) Currently, 38 states including Louisiana, have passed medical cannabis laws. Louisiana's program only has two cultivator/processors, the lowest in the nation. Louisiana also has among the highest pricing for medical cannabis. Many have suggested that high prices stem from lack of competition. Do you support expanding the number of cultivators in the medical cannabis program? *
