Pride in Research 2025 is an all-Ireland symposium that aims to celebrate the work of LGBTQ+ researchers or allies conducting LGBTQ+ research. The event will take the form of an academic conference, with researchers of all levels, from all fields invited to present their work.
This year we plan to have three main sessions running from 14.00 until 19.00.
Session 1 - Long talks, traditional conference vibes (10 minutes talking, 5 minutes for questions)
Session 2 - Short talks, (approximately 5 minutes speaking, with some time for questions)
Session 3 - Networking - It is currently unclear what form this session will take, but participants will be encouraged and facilitated to mix and discuss the the themes of the day
The deadline for Abstract submissions has now passed
The event is hosted by Trinity College Dublin, with the support of the Dean of Research. Thanks to this support as well as that of the TCD LGBT Staff Network, and the voluntary Pride in Research committee, this event is free of charge.
Tea, coffee and food will be provided for attendees over the course of the day.
Please complete the registration form if you plan to attend the event. This will allow us to order an appropriate amount of refreshments.
